Many people find creativity via the keyboard and can tell a compelling story with words on a page. I prefer to use images of the outdoors and of people to tell a complex story. I shoot by intuition, often driving for hours before I ‘see’ the opportunity to photograph something that will make people feel like they were there with me. I drink litres of coffee in independent coffee shops talking to people and looking for that one person who’s story is written all over their face.
I am travelling across Canada searching for what binds our country together; the people and the places that are the backbone of who we are as a nation. Canada is a country of kilometres and I am determined to zigzag across the country and connect with Canadians in as many small towns as I can.
